Sunflowers, Provence, France Canvas Print

Two sunflowers growing in a field, Provence, France, are transformed into a fantasy landscape by my magical negative technique. Through the process of making a digital negative, colours are inverted as well as light and shades, challenging our expectations and making us see the natural world afresh.Instead of the stereotypical blue skies and yellow sunflowers of the original 'normal' photo, the negative shows us red skies and blue sunflowers, making us see the patterns differently.

I'm a Welsh writer and photographer living in the south of France with a very big white dog, a scruffy black dog, a Nikon D750 and a man. I have a large photo portfolio with a major stock company and my artwork is in use throughout the world. I shoot (and write) in a wide variety of genres, from food to landscape.
