The Cathar Castle of Montsegur dominates the wild landscape of the Aude, France, its ruins a reminder of what the Cathars, known as 'the Perfecti', represented and also of what they suffered. The end of Montsegur was violent and there are ghosts there.

I'm a Welsh writer and photographer living in the south of France with a very big white dog, a scruffy black dog, a Nikon D750 and a man.
